Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Set for May 7
The City of Cedar Hill along with Keep Cedar Hill Beautiful is holding another Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, May 7, from 9:00am to 11:00am, at the Cedar Hill High School Parking Lot, #1 Longhorn Blvd.
This is FREE to Cedar Hill residents only. Residents must bring proof of residency, a recent water bill or a current driver’s license showing their Cedar Hill address. Space is limited, so come early.
Residents should bring acids, aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries (all kinds including car batteries), brake fluid, craft chemicals, degreasers, drain cleaner, fertilizer, fluorescent light bulbs, herbicides, household chemicals, motor oil, paints and stains, paint thinners, pest strips, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, photo chemicals, pool chemicals, oil filters, solvents, transmission fluid, varnish, propane and butane cylinders.
Residents should NOT bring ammunition, asbestos, building materials, explosives, medical waste, PCB’s, radioactive material, computers, smoke detectors and tires.
It’s easy! Just drive through, we unload your car and you get rid of environmentally harmful materials safely!
